Nepali police arrested three people including a Tibetan (Chinese national) in Dhading district with 400kg raw shahtoosh wool on 8 February 2013. Last month in another case 1,200kg raw wool had also seized. More than 9,000 chirus may have killed in Tibet to obtain this amount of raw wool.
